Being bisexual I feel a constradiction of feeling like I have had it easy as during the difficult teen years I had struggle-free straight-presenting relationships, but now I am married to a woman I feel very awkward saying I am bisexual as people assume that means I am actively looking to be attracted to everyone, unlike they would if you were only attracted to one gender.
I came out fairly late, after University. My only experience of being out and at University has been working at HEIs, which has been a mixed experience.
