Campus Creators

We’re asking for ‘campus creators’ to step forward and propose an activity or event that they would like to see take place on campus for 2021/2022! Whatever it is, if it’s possible, we’ll help make it happen!

As part of our Campus Engagement Project, GSU will help to support the logistics, funding and promo – we’d just ask you to be the driving force!

If you’ve got an idea, complete the form below, and we’ll be in touch with you as soon as possible!

The Dome

The Dome is right at the heart of Avery Hill campus. There is space to relax, work, and chat with your friends. The Dome has work stations, a café, and, of course, the University Gym. The Dome is open Monday to Sunday 8am to 10pm.

GSU Officers have provided the furniture within The Dome and we hold exhibitions here.

Pop-up bar

We've created a bar in The Dome, which is the social hub of campus.

The opportunity to utilise this space has been limited the last year but we encourage you to put on exciting events in this space, from games nights, seasonal holidays to course socials, when guidelines allow.

Being part of a Society can teach you a lot of skills like teamwork and organisation. Many of our Societies hold events, so if you are interested in event management then a Society could be a great first step.
