Feminism

Who are we?

University of Greenwich Feminism Society.

Feminism is 'the advocacy of women’s rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes.' As a collect, feminists aim to support feminism as a movement by campaigning to defend the equal political, economic, social, and cultural rights of women.

Our fem soc aims to support the feminist movement and encourage both members and students outside the society to embrace and support feminism. We hope to do this by expanding our knowledge of the feminist movement as a whole, dispelling myths, and assisting the student union in ridding the university and wider society from sexism and the clutches of the patriarchy!

We plan to hold regular meetings, various events and socials, collaborate with other societies and feminist groups, invite feminist speakers to our university, and maybe go on a trip/march or two.

We are FREE to join so don't hesitate to click the button up at the top of the page once you've logged in.
