Amnesty International

We are a student-led society that is part of a global movement of more than eight million people who take injustice personally and campaign for a world where human rights are freely enjoyed by all.

Who are we?

Are you interested in Human Rights? Environmental Rights? Then you are in the right place!

Amnesty International is a human rights organisation who are funded by members and people like you. We are independent of any political ideology, economic interest or religion. No government is beyond scrutiny. No situation is beyond hope.

At the University of Greenwich, we have the opportunity to concentrate on one main campaign or focus on a series of issues. As a society, we have access to resources provided by the organisation to assist with campaigns ranging from petitioning and canvassing to larger-scale demonstrations. The Amnesty International Society will inform its campaigns based on the valued interests of its members.

Our campaigns will focus on raising awareness and also raising money to help support the great work which Amnesty does.

All are welcome!
