Rory Hobble and the Voyage to Haligogen tells the story of an 11-year-old boy with a diagnosis of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) who travels into space with his social worker to rescue his abducted mother. As part of a wider project, Max will be going into schools to talk about both OCD and the reality of social work using his novel as the basis for creative discussion and is being supported by the charity OCD Action to deliver his work.

To make any of this a reality though, Max needs your support; so visit his crowdfunding page here and preorder his novel today to help him towards his funding target. For your trouble, you get your name immortalised in the book as a supporter, and 15% of all future royalties from book sales will be donated to OCD Action. Oh, and enter promotional code ‘greenwich’ at checkout for a 15% discount on your preorder, exclusively for students and staff of the university.

So, if you fancy helping out a fellow student, supporting a worthy cause or simply want to get your hands on an exciting sci-fi novel, then do consider preordering Rory Hobble and the Voyage to Haligogen today.

The deadline for the project is 11 March 2020.
