The Race Equality Now campaign is a collaboration between Black Impact and Make Diversity Count. They're calling for meaningful inclusion and engagement with Black students and staff around the implementation of the Race Equality Charter intended to address institutional racism in higher education. A review is currently being undertaken by Advance HE, and Black voices need to be at the heart of this review.
Racism is still a real and devastating issue in universities, and Black Impact and Make Diversity Count are calling for meaningful inclusion and engagement with Black students and staff for a more robust and effective Race Equality Charter (REC) to address institutional racism in higher education.
This campaign needs you if you are a current Black student, staff or graduate (from 2015 onwards). Please help by sharing and completing the survey: https://blackimpact.co.uk/race-equality-now-campaign/
