The Greenwich Students’ Union (GSU) coffee shop in the Dreadnought Building has gone through a rebrand this summer. The venue, which was formerly known as Change Coffee is now operating as Change.
The move comes to line-up with the change in products within the store.
Whilst the store was originally intended to just be a coffee shop, with the closure of John Smith’s opposite the Dreadnought Building, Change. now sells the University of Greenwich Hoodies and the Medway bus tickets.
There are further plans for Change. to introduce a range of products including stationery.
In addition, there has been a change to the coffee and the food range on offer. The coffee served is now by Café Direct which is a company that prides itself on its good values and ethics in their efforts to give profits back to farmers.
Most of the food range is now also being handmade by the Change. team, this includes sandwiches, salads and jacket potatoes.
Change. aims to uphold the values originally set out by Change Coffee. The packaging for the homemade sandwich and salad range is by Vegware which is made by plants and is compostable.
The GSU venue is also a not-for-profit, so any profit made goes back into supporting students at Greenwich.
