Understanding Our Human Negativity Bias and how to rewire your brain

The ‘Negativity Bias’ refers to our proclivity to attend to, learn from, and use negative information far more than positive information. The Negativity Bias is an adaptive evolutionary function to keep us alive however in our modern-day life this hard-wired tendency is not as useful as it once was. We will explore why it evolved, what it does to our brain and how we can rebalance the bias.
