Mindfulness for Stress and Anxiety.

Monday 12th April 2021 6pm-7pm

Feeling stressed, anxious or overwhelmed? You're not alone. Chronic Stress and anxiety are conditions that afflict more of us than ever before.

This workshop will explore how our stress response is crucial to our survival but when we are chronically stressed that this can be maladaptive and contribute to physical and mental ill-health. We will investigate how and why simple mindfulness practices, gentle movement, breathing techniques and self-compassion can be powerful tools to balance the nervous system and calm the mind.

Along with experiential practices, the workshop will include easy to understand information on neurobiology and neuroscience in relation to stress and anxiety, and how we can start to recognise and shift old patterns for better health and wellbeing.
