How to Juggle Workshop - Don't Miss Out!!

Event run by Greenwich Students' Union
Monday 08 March 2021
7pm - 8pm
Virtual - Zoom

Need a new lockdown hobby that is easy to pick up and doesn't take up too much space. Come and learn how to juggle with The Oak Circus Centre! This one hour-class will give an introduction to basic juggling with objects that you can find in your own home. Our highly experienced tutor will teach you a variety of throws and catches with one and two balls, moving on to a simple three ball foundation pattern. We welcome those who already know a little bit as well as those who have never tried juggling before, just keep in mind this class is primarily aimed at beginners.

Juggling is a fun activity that you can do pretty much anyway, and is great for focus, coordination, rhythm and creativity. Please bring 3 juggling objects to the class. This could be juggling balls, tennis balls or any other type of hand-sizes balls, or it could be tightly rolled balls of socks, oranges or apples (as long as you don't mind them getting bruised!). If you are going to use fruit it would be a good idea to do the class on a carpet, or soft surface or in front of a couch. The class will operate on zoom so you will need an appropriate device with a big enough screen to easily see the tutor.

If you are interested in this activity or any others in the GSUmove programme please sign up here on our new Playwaze app where not only can sign up for any activity but also complete a range of challenges which can earn you points which you can convert to prizes!
