Treat yourself and join in the fun on Pancake Day at Avery Hill

Pancake Day, or Shrove Tuesday, is a traditional feast day which precedes the 40-day fasting period of Lent that lasts until Easter. This year it is on the 16th of February!

You can collect your free pancake making kits in the week run-up to Shrove Tuesday from the Village Shop on Avery Hill campus. So you and your flatmates can get creative in the kitchen and join in with some Shrove Tuesday fun. What will go on your pancake? Sugar and lemon or chocolate sauce? 

If you would like to post a video to the 'Avery Hill Halls Of Residence' Facebook group of your most elaborate pancake flip then you will be in with a chance of winning some prizes!
