GSU's first ever community fair day! If you live in halls, live in the local area, or just want to get to know your university more, come down for a day of fun, food, music and games.  Bring your children to enjoy our family friendly activities.  A range of entertainment for kids and adults including inflatable games, food trucks, ice cream van, DJ and chill zones.  With our very own student groups running events throughout the day... meet new people, see what Avery hill has to offer.

Events through the day:
o Old school sports day hosted by netball & American football: “I used to have a fear of hurdles… but I got over it”. Greenwich Netball and American Football have teamed up to take you on a trip down memory lane in the form of an Old School Sports Day. We will be putting you through your paces with all the traditional events such as the egg and spoon race, javelin throw, the three-legged race and much more! Put your game face on and let the tomfoolery begin!

o Freshers football festival hosted by women’s football: Football for the Whole Family. Come along to the Women’s Football event. We will be bringing you fun games and activities for the whole family to get involved in. The University of Greenwich Women’s Football Team will be around to talk about what opportunities are available and how to get involved with the team. There will be a leader board with prizes for the top scorers. We look forward to meeting you!

o Student parents corner: A chance for kids to play, while you have a cup of tea and mingle with other student parents! Did you know Student Parents are a growing and valued part our student community! You are not alone.  We know how difficult it can be combining academic studies with family life.
