Greenwich Students’ Union is proud to participate in the national This Girl Can campaign.

You can find out more about the national campaign on the This Girl Can website (link opens in a new window).

We encourage you to sign-up for some of our events - we've got weekly training sessions welcoming all abilities. So, make sure you get involved! You can read the profiles of female sporting students and get involved by using the hashtag #ThisGirlCan on social media.

This Girl Can celebrates active women who are doing their thing no matter how they do it, how they look or even how sweaty they get. Our research shows that many women are put off taking part in physical activity due to a fear of judgement – this might be about the way the look when they exercise, that they’re not good enough to join in or they should be spending more time on their families, studies or other priorities.

Our events

Our This Girl Can events this year are taking place on all three campuses. We have a range of events on from Women's only gym sessions, to Yoga, to showcase fixtures where some of our Women's Sports teams will be playing against other union teams. For all the events, check out the listings below.
