The Postgraduate Researcher Association (PGRA) is the representative body for all postgraduate research students.

PGRA brings researchers together, helps build a strong sense of belonging and community through events, and ensures that postgraduate voices are heard by the Greenwich Doctoral College (GDC) and Greenwich Students' Union (GSU), through the PGR Forum to help improve the postgraduate research experience.

Become a member

You can simply opt-in to be a member of the association to be kept in the loop of all updates, upcoming events and the latest PGRA news.

By becoming a member you are easily connected to a wide community of fellow postgraduates, have access to our dedicated postgraduate spaces and ensures you are up to date with the latest networking and social events.

To become a member simply opt-in to our mailing list by ticking the box below and clicking "Opt-in".

Join the committee

The PGRA Committee is a selected group of postgraduates representing each school, planning and leading the overall activities of the PGRA.

Submit your application below. Applications will be reviewed and successful applicants chosen by the Friday 18th September 2026.

What is The PGRA Committee and how can you get involved?

The PGRA Committee is a team of students who lead PGRA, representing postgraduate researchers, and turns student priorities and feedback into meaningful action.

By being a committee member you benefit from all of the perks of a member, as well as the following: 

  • Leadership and advocacy training.  

  • Directly representing your peers and co-creating your postgraduate experience.
