Hello, I am Krishmi Karki, and I am one of your student Officers. I am an International student who has just finished my final year of BA Hons International Business. As a student, my experience in Greenwich was very satisfying. From every aspects, academic to social I enjoyed every prospects of Greenwich.
After experiencing three years of the University environment, a sense of hustle for a deadline, a sense of confusion on career, and a sense of isolation has always been there. Especially with the covid pandemic, our lives, thinking and mental health have faced an abrupt change. Hence, we need a change in the university support system for students and I will bring that to you.
My motto was ‘Let the change begin, by you, from you, and for you.’ Making a change motivated me to get involved in Greenwich Students’ Union (GSU). The core principle of GSU is to help students to become their best. I wanted to be a part of this change and assist students to shape their student life.
Greenwich is my second home. Although leaving my own home country and coming overseas to study was not very easy. But, Greenwich has always showered me the love, warmth and sense of belonging, which motivated me to complete my degree and now be a part of it to bring change and uplift students. #ProudToBeGRE
