SU Awards
Our SU Awards celebrate the student leaders, societies, sports clubs, and communities that bring university life to life.
From unforgettable events and creative initiatives to the people working hard behind the scenes, these awards recognise the passion and dedication that make our student community thrive.

Student Led Teaching Awards (SLTAs)
The Student Led Teaching Awards are your chance to recognise the programme reps and staff who make learning at Greenwich special.
Maybe a lecturer made a difficult topic click, a supervisor supported you through a tough project, or a Rep that went the extra mile to help you succeed. The SLTAs celebrate the people who inspire, support, and champion students every day.
If a programme rep or member of staff has made a difference to your university journey, nominate them and let them know how much it means by submitting a nomination before they close on April 1st.
SU50
SU50 celebrates 50 students, student representatives, and student groups who have made a meaningful difference to the student experience this year.
From supporting classmates and representing their peers to building communities and leading initiatives, students shape university life in countless ways. SU50 shines a spotlight on those contributions and recognises the impact students make across our campuses.
Students are nominated by University of Greenwich and GSU staff, highlighting individuals and groups whose efforts have helped improve the student experience.
The SU50 digital showcase will launch on Monday 20 April 2026, where we’ll be celebrating all 50 recognised students and groups and sharing their stories.

The Rep Conferences this term is all about giving Programme Reps the space, support, and confidence to grow in their roles. These sessions are designed as hands‑on, workshop‑style events, meaning you won’t just be listening— you’ll be actively taking part. Expect practical activities that help you sharpen key rep skills, from gathering student feedback effectively to raising issues in a clear, constructive way.
Across the day, you’ll get the chance to meet other reps from your faculty and campus, share experiences, compare challenges, and learn from each other. It’s a great opportunity to make connections, swap ideas, and build a supportive network you can lean on for the rest of the year. You’ll also hear from GSU staff, Alumni, Employability, and Academic Skills who can offer advice, guidance, and insights into how your work feeds into wider student voice projects.
By the end of the conference, you should feel more confident navigating your rep responsibilities, better equipped to make change happen, and energised by the community around you. And of course, everyone who attends will leave with a freebie goody bag as a thank you for the time and passion you put into representing students.
