SU Celebrates fosters community connection, recognizes diverse forms of excellence, and creates meaningful moments of recognition that students and employees will remember long after graduation.

Brand new for 2026, SU50. A recognition initiative celebrating 50 students, student reresentatives, and student groups who have made a meaningful difference to the student experience this academic year.
SU50 will showcase the 50 most influential students and groups who have gone above and beyond, shaping the University experience for everyone around them.

Here we celebrate the achievements of all our Student Groups in their chosen field as well as recognising the outstanding students who contribute to their successes.
We're showcasing and awarding the achievements of groups across the various group categories in two showstopping events (Greenwich and Medway), to better celebrate all student-led groups together.

The Student Led Teaching Awards (SLTAs) have been championed across Universities in the UK since 2013 as a celebration of partnership and best practice in teaching.
These awards acknowledge the excellent practice of Lecturers and staff members within the University – those who demonstrate their commitment to delivering the best possible teaching and supervision to students, creating profound and positive educational experiences.
