We are honoured to welcome Yaa Dankwa Ampadu-Sackey - Award-Winning Barrister at Four Brick Court, UN Women UK Delegate to CSW67, Empanelled Mediator & Mediation Trainer, Family Law & Specialist Childcare Lawyer, and former Visiting Lecturer at the University of Greenwich.

Dual qualified and a proud member of the Ghana Bar Association, she brings an international perspective to family justice, combining strong courtroom advocacy with a modern, solution-focused mediation approach.

In this powerful one-hour online session, she will explore:

•How mediation complements, not replaces, court proceedings
•When mediation may not be appropriate
•Managing power imbalances between parties
•How SEND mediation differs from standard mediation
•Ensuring inclusive decision-making for modern families
•Improving access to justice through mediation and direct access work
