Find an opportunity

Get started!

Once you've found an opportunity you want to get involved in, you'll need to get in contact with the opportunity provider who will confirm when you can get started.

  • If you found the opportunity through our website you just click the button saying that you're interested and that will automatically email the volunteer provider for you.
  • If you've used then you can apply through the Do-It website.

Recognition and awards

We're aware that students at Greenwich do loads of fantastic things outside their course, volunteering both with the Students' Union and a massive range of external organisations in the community, and we want to give you a chance to get recognition for the amazing things you undertake. To outline your outstanding commitment to volunteering, the GSCV will hopefully give you genuine recognition, and help you land your dream job after you graduate by making you stand out from the rest!

The GSCV has 4 levels, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Gold Plus, and is earned through logging your hours and skills via the Toolkit, and completing reflective reviews about your volunteering. Learn more
