The International Student Advice Service provides free and confidential immigration advice to applicants, students and graduates of the University.

University Disability and Dyslexia Service

The Disability and Dyslexia service offers support to students with any disability or specific learning difficulty. You can register with them at any time so that they can arrange your support and put into place any reasonable adjustments that you may require.

University Wellbeing and Counselling Service

From confidential one-to-one counselling to motivational and self-development group workshops, the Student Wellbeing Service (Counselling & Mental Health) is here to help and support you.

Report Bullying, Harassment. Hate Crime and Sexual Violence

If you have been subject to Bullying, Harassment, Hate Crime or Sexual Violence you can report this to the university leaving your details or anonymously. You can use this service to report incidents of racism and discrimination.

University Accommodation Service

The accommodation service can give you information about university halls, and support you if you are living in University-provided accommodation.

The Employability and Careers Service advisers will help you gain the confidence, skills and experience to achieve your career ambitions.

Library Services

Whether it's help with working with numbers, referencing, exam preparation, making the most of the library's journals, books, databases and resources, the university’s Librarians, Academic Skills Tutors and other members of the library team can help and advise.

IT Support

If you need support with your university IT, you can get in touch with the IT service desk.

Student Assembly

If you have an issue that you know affects lots of students at the University, you can suggest that the SU works on it at Student Assembly and discuss solutions together. You can sign up and submit agenda points on the webpage. Training sessions are available on the website too.

 

Programme Repressentatives

Programme Reps are elected students who represent you and your views on academic matters relating to your course. They act as the link between students and the academic staff on each course, ensuring the student voice is being heard and positive changes are being made in every department. If you have any feedback about your course, your Student Reps are there to listen and act on it.
