We are the Mind Society!
The winners of Best New Society 2017/18!
We are a community dedicated to improving low mood and wellbeing, as well as creating a safe place to talk about mental health. We are passionate about opening up the conversation surrounding mental health, offering mutual support and defeating the stigma once and for all - whilst having a hell of a lot of fun!
We hold fortnightly tea & talks, monthly movie nights and regular trips to events around London. Contact us and join our mailing list or follow us on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook (gremindsociety) to keep up to date!

By joining our events you are supporting us making mental health conversation a regular part of day to day life and joining the battle against the stigma. Our events are always open and you can join in as much or as little as you like - you do you boo!
Everyone is always welcome.

We appreciate coming to an event for the first time can be difficult, so please, if you're coming alone, don't know where to go or are feeling anxious about coming, reach out to us and we'll meet you beforehand and/or do anything else we can to support you. No one should miss out on Tea & Biscuits, no matter what might be holding you back!
You’ll never be pressured to do anything that could make you feel uncomfortable to have an amazing time as a member of the Mind Society. We believe every student should be able to choose to get involved and not get involved with whatever they feel comfortable with (you do you boo!) and that our student groups thrive when they are as inclusive and accessible as the diverse student population we are lucky to a part of. That is why we are #ProudToBeInitiationFree
Where can you find us?
Be sure to join our Facebook group (group name: University of Greenwich Mind Society) and follow us on Twitter and Instagram (@gremindsociety) where we keep everyone updated. You can join us at any point during the year so please to reach out and get in contact or just come along for one of our events, they're always open to all.
Feel free to ask us any questions (seemingly silly questions are also welcome - anxious people, we got you) - contact us on social media or via our email (firstname.lastname@example.org)
We look forward to meeting you!
