Trading and Investment Banking

Who are we?

Trading and Investment Banking Society.

The Trading and Investment Society is an academic society at the University of Greenwich promoting students to learn fundamental skills in the areas of equities, corporate finance and FX and commodities to prepare them for a career in finance and investment banking. The society also works with firms based in the city to arrange guest lectures and improving employability to ready students for working within financial services.

The society is run by individuals who all have experience within the industry within some capacity whether that is internships, placements or currently employed in finance and investment banking institutions.

When you join the society you have access to:

  • Weekly sessions starting from the basics
  • Simulated portfolio management
  • Workshops and mock assessment centres
  • Internal and national competitions
  • Weekly research from our research analyst
  • Great place to network
