Events Society

Who are we?

Dear Students,

Whether you are an Event Management student, a part of the Business School, or just a student at the University of Greenwich, we would like you to COME & JOIN our new, REBRANDED Events Society!

This year, we are creating a friendly and supportive space with varied educational and networking possibilities for students who share the same interest and passion for events as we do. Our society welcomes everyone to share their experiences and work with us to create memorable events at the university.

We want you to learn and engage, gain valuable knowledge and explore your opportunities within the events industry during and after your studies. You can be part of some exciting field trips, educational seminars from guest speakers working in the industry and networking events with peers and academics where we will share our experiences, fears, expectations, wishes for the industry and future employment.

Big News!

We are proud to announce that this year, the events society is organising the university's first ever winter ball in December! We need all the help we can from our members and it will be a great opportunity to gain valuable experience from a live event, so we hope to get everyone on board and help us out in the next few months.

Committee for 2019/2020

Meet our committee, which consists of first and second year students, with a wide variety of experience which we are ready to share with our society members.

President: Sophie Rose Ford

Co-President: Chloe Dawson-Fagg
