Festive opening times at The Hub

Medway students. We wish all Medway students a well deserved break.

 

Whilst some outlets are closed and the Medway campus will be quieter over the festive break, some will remain open for students to meet and socialise in. 

 

Where can you go on the Medway campus?

 
Please note that The Hub reception is closed from 5pm on Wednesday 17th December, and reopens on Monday 5th January 2026. The Deep End bar and restaurant will also be closed from 12th December until 12th January 2026. 
 
The Deep End will however be open for private parties and external bookings from 16th-18th December 2025 and 5th-12th January 2026. To enquire, contact us at flagshipevents@gre.ac.uk. 

The Drill Hall Library will be open at various times over the Christmas break. From Saturday 13th December until Friday 23rd December, they will be open 9am until 5pm. Then from Saturday 27th December until Wednesday 31st December, they will be open 10am until 4pm when they then close their doors until Friday 2nd January 2026. Friday 2nd January until Sunday 4th Jaunary, they will be open 10am until 4pm. The Drill Hall Library will be back to their usual opening times on Monday 5th January, which is Monday - Friday 8am - 12am, and weekends 9am - 9pm.

Kent Students' Union will be closed over the festive period. If you're around on the Canterbury campus over the festive break, check out where you can go.

Christ Church Students' Union will be closed over the festive break too. Please see opening times for The Touchdown Cafe on the Medway campus here.
