Over the past few weeks, students voted for their top priority out of the following five:

1) Reducing Costs on Campus

2) Personal Tutor and Faculty Support

3) Career Development and Graduate Prospects

4) Timetabling and Course Organisation

5) Quality, Availability and Support in Accommodation

Receiving 31.8% of the total votes cast, Greenwich students have voted Reducing Costs on Campus as their 2023/24 priority.

This priority touches base on the cost-of-living crisis, which has been a headline topic over the past year or so. We will focus on this topic at GSU to ensure we continue to advocate for:

  • Low and affordable cost food options on campus

  • Remove hidden course costs (e.g. textbooks)

  • Address the Medway bus cost

  • Overall cheaper campus life

You can see the overall voting statistics here. Thanks to all that voted!
