1. Students of Faith

• New Avery Hill faith space which has been well received from students as it has been an issue for them for a long time  

• Improved ablution facilities in Greenwich by adding extra chairs and other facilities  

• Improved faith space facilities in Medway by lobbying the University to invest in carpet and bookshelf in the space  

• Lobbied the University to hire Chaplains to represent all faiths 

• Sat on interview panels to represent students of faith  

• In collaboration with Global Greenwich held the annual Iftar events across all campuses with a turnout of over 850 students? 

2. Sustainability

• In collaboration with the University’s Sustainability team introduced sustainability training to GSU societies and sports clubs

• Introduced ‘The Sustainable impact award’ to award the most sustainable society/club at the awards ceremony.

3. Employability

• In collaboration with the University’s Employability team, helped in introducing the freelancing platform 'Freelance Hub’ for students to work on various projects related to their field of study. 

4. Students with disabilities 

• Held three coffee mornings during the Disability History Month across all campuses with over 50 students to foster inclusivity and improve connection between GSU and students with disabilities.  

• Helped in introducing new ablution facilities at the Medway campus for students with disabilities of all faiths.
