As the Food and Beverage Team Member in our Student Union, you will play a crucial role in welcoming customers to the bar, lounge, and function areas. Your direct interaction with customers contributes to the highest level of customer service. You'll be responsible for receiving and delivering beverages (coffee, soft drinks, and alcohol) and food orders, making strong customer service skills essential for this position.

Rate:

£12.21 Paid holiday on top of your hourly rate of 12.07% per hour

Hours:

Zero hours contract. Expected commitment of 2 to 3 shifts per week minimum.

As the Food and Beverage Supervisor in our Student Union, your role is pivotal in leading the team to ensure smooth front and back of house operations for all food and beverage services on our premises. Responsible to: Venue Duty Manager Responsible for: Team Leader, and Casual Staff

Scrutiny Panellist (4 positions)

As a member of the Scrutiny Panel, you will be responsible for ensuring that the elected GSU officers adhere to their mandate. You will attend several meetings throughout the year alongside other panellists, critically assessing the work they have conducted towards their objectives.

Student Content Creator

The Student Content Creator will work with the Marketing and Communications department to promote GSU activity. They will produce engaging content for use on GSU’s social media channels and website, including videos, photos, graphics and text copy.

Student Marketing and Communications Assistant (2 positions)

The Communications Assistant will work with the Marketing and Communications department to promote GSU activity at Medway to support the partnership between Greenwich, Kent and Canterbury. They will will promote the events and services hosted by The Hub and The Deep End, produce engaging content for social media and the website, and will contribute content to emails sent by the Marketing and Communications team.
