Sunflower Pot Painting for Disability History Month

Event run by Medway
Tuesday 07 December 2021
noon - 2pm
The Hub, Medway

"Whether your hidden disability is sight loss or a hearing impairment, not being able to stand for long periods of time or needing urgent access to toilet facilities, you can now discreetly highlight the type of support and care you might need." - Hidden Disabilities 2021

You may have come across the Sunflower lanyard as a symbol to raise awareness of hidden disabilities.

For Disability History Month 2021, join us in the Hub painting plant pots and learning about the signs and symbols used to help people recognise and bring awareness to different hidden disabilities.
