No mice in Devonport House Accommodation

    Current
It is frequent to hear and see mice in the kitchen and rooms of Devonport House, at least in floor 1 and 2 of building B. It is a health issue and a risk for all students that live and cook here. No matter if we keep our rooms clean and without open food, mice come. We are not comfortable and some of us stopped cooking in the kitchen. I suggest to take action in all the building to keep all mice away and stop its growth, because located actions are not working. In addition, the black boxes that supposedly help with the problem, do not work, mice pass near it and do not enter. Submitted 1 month ago by Ana Hinojosa Herrera

12:14pm on 5 Feb 18 Hey Ana, thank you so much for this! I have spoken to our VP Welfare Luke who is working with the accommodation office. He will address this with the office and should there be any other issues meanwhile, please contact your Resident Assistants who are there for student support at Devonport. You find their number on the poster in your kitchen - should there not be a poster please let me know and I will get the number for you. Best, Meike - SU President
