Are you enthusiastic about building community and creating memorable student experiences? We’re looking for a proactive and organised Student Team Leader to help shape and deliver engaging activities at the Medway campus.

As a Student Team Leader, you will play a key role in planning and delivering events, leading visible pop-ups across campus spaces, and supporting the continued development of the Give It A Go (GIAG) programme. You’ll use student feedback and engagement data to ensure activities are relevant, inclusive, and impactful.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Planning and delivering engaging events and pop-up activities across the Medway campus

• Using student feedback and participation data to improve activities

• Supporting and developing the GIAG programme to ensure it remains inclusive and exciting

• Collaborating with student officers and the wider Engagement & Opportunities Team

• Encouraging participation and connecting students to societies and opportunities

• Providing leadership and guidance to student staff and volunteers during activities

• Ensuring all events are delivered safely, following risk assessments and health & safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Passion for improving the student experience

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Organised, proactive, and confident engaging with students

Desirable:

• Experience organising or supporting events

• Involvement in student groups or societies

• Awareness of the student experience at Medway (UoG or UoK)
