Come along to the Greenwich Students’ Union General Meeting and be a director for the day! Your Trustees have called a General Meeting on 1st June 2026 — and we’ve got an exciting, packed line-up planned for you.
This is your chance to help shape the future of Greenwich Students’ Union, a multi-million-pound charity run by students, for students, network with charity leaders, shape your CV and create the LinkedIn post of a lifetime!
Your trustees have called a General Meeting to seek approval for important changes to the GSU Articles of Association as part of the proposed merger with Kent Students’ Union. As a Greenwich student, you have the right to attend, speak and vote on these important decisions. If you can’t attend in person, you can still have your say by registering a proxy vote.
You can read more about the proposed changes, details of the meeting, and how to appoint a proxy if you can’t attend, on our dedicated General Meeting webpage.
We’ve planned an exciting, packed line-up of activities for your general meeting. This includes a FREE networking lunch with the GSU CEO and Chair of Trustees, employability workshops, a special GSU Council tackling the BIG student issues as well as a FREE drinks reception. This is a day to show yourself as a leader and shape your SU.
And that’s not all! Every attendee will receive a goody bag and the first 50 students to sign up to attend the full day will also receive a free prize — either a hoodie, t-shirt, voucher or bag!
