The Senior Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at Medway is part of the Greenwich Students’ Union Commercial Services. At GSU we turnover £1m through our not-for-profit commercial services that provide services to students, staff, and the local Greenwich population. We provide students at the University of Greenwich and their partner with social spaces to study, make friends, and have fun.

Additionally, the profit generated through our varied income portfolio is invested back into the SU support services for students. We are a Living Wage Employer and a large employer of students putting money back in their pockets to support the cost of studying and living in London.

Academic Communities and Representation Manager

The Academic Communities & Engagement Manager will be responsible for ensuring quality and innovative representation structures are established to amplify student voice at Greenwich. The role will lead growing our Academic Community offer so all students feel belonging on their course and have opportunities to engage outside of the classroom, across all three of our sites: Greenwich, Avery Hill and Medway. The role will lead the Academic Communities & Representation staff team to empower and support students, effect change at GSU, the University and beyond. This role will empower elected Officers and students across the diverse student population of the University of Greenwich to ensure students have effective mechanisms to come together and make positive change within their communities and beyond.

The Food and Beverage Manager based at the Greenwich campus will be directly responsible for the daily operations, sustainability impact and financial performance of all Greenwich based outlets, events, and staff. Retention and Insights Manager

Contract length: six (6) months with possibility of extension
Salary: £35,000 per annum, pro-rata for the contract length

As we launch our ambitious 5-year strategic plan the Retention and Insights Manager will play a key role at Greenwich Students’ Union in supporting students to stay and succeed at university.

The successful candidate will lead an established team in delivering our award-winning outreach programme which facilitates structured phone conversations with 1000’s of students a term. The post holder will take a strategic, evidence-led approach to develop further interventions to support students based on the insights gained from this project and from other areas of SU and university activity.
