The Medway Advice Service is here to provide free, confidential and impartial advice to all University of Greenwich and University of Kent students studying at the Medway Campus.
Our aim is to empower and provide you with quality advice so that you can make an informed decision. We are independent of the universities and are your Students' Union presence on the Medway Campus.
We have an Advice Service Privacy Notice that students can read and we are members of Advice UK.
Advice we offer
Advice is offered on a range of topics, including academic, finance, student funding, and housing.
If you require immigration advice, University of Kent students should contact the Kent Union Advice Centre and University of Greenwich students their International Student Advice Service.
We encourage students to read through our internet content first, before contacting us, as you may find your answers on our pages.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Industrial Action
Staff across the UK who are members of the University and College Union (UCU) will be taking strike action over the next few months plus Action Short of Strike from 1st December till 3rd May 2022.
The UCU represents over 110,000 academics, lecturers, trainers, instructors, researchers, managers, administrators, computer staff, librarians, and postgraduates in universities, colleges, prisons, adult education, and training organisations across the UK.

University of Greenwich students can view the Strike Hub via Greenwich Student Union to be kept up to date with developments and information.
University of Kent students can view the main Kent Union Strike pages to also be kept up to date with any develoments and information.
What if I need advice?
If you feel you are being affected by these strikes it is a good idea to read through the above information. This is important so you understand how you can report any concerns or missed contacts and so that you have an understanding of your rights while the university is undergoing industrial action.
It is also a good idea to read through and view guidance provided by the Office for Students and The Office of the Independent Adjudicator.
