Swap - You don't have to keep the pace of drinking with others, swap to an alcohol-free option or a single measure from a double to drink at a pace that's right for you.
Stop - If you don't feel well it's time to stop, know your limit.
Support - We're here to support you, let us know if you need water. Do your part to support your friends and ensure they get home safely if they've had too much to drink. 

We have a range of drink protectors behind the bar at the Lower Deck. Please ask us if you would like these on your drink.

There has been an increase in recent years of drink spiking and date rape drugs across the United Kingdom. It's important to understand what these are, and spot the signs. Knowing what they are could protect you or your friends.

If you live around the corner at Halls, please ensure you're still walking home with someone else, being on your own can put you in a vulnerable position at night.

The University has the SafeZone app which connects to their security team, the app has a flashlight and SOS button. Download the app to keep safe on campus.

If you're in a situation where you don't feel comfortable in our bar, head to the bar and ask any of our bartenders for Angela or Andrew. This will let them know that you need help, and they will support you.

Our staff are trained regarding safetly, student support, and reporting. We use an external security service provider on our doors, and there is CCTV in our venue.
