I am Jabed, one of your current GSU Officers. You voted me on March to represent you at Greenwich.
Today, I am asking you to trust me once again and let me represent you at the national level as well!
What I will do for us
• Cultural Awareness: people tend to fear/reject unknown, this why its necessary to make those unknown known. People accepts others easily when they know them. I will work on to make you and your culture known, nationally.
• International student: we have been ignored and exploited for too long, its time we need proper representation at national level and fix those policies which putting bars on our progress.
• Sustainability: 0.9 million people will be displaced in Bangladesh by 2050 because of Sea Level rise. This is one of the many countries in the world who must face cruel consequences of Climate Change. Its high time we work on it and do our part of global citizenship.
Why I am qualified
• I am your current GSU Officer, also the lead Sustainability and International Students Officer. I have been already working on the areas which matters to you.
• Activities Committee Chair, working to build and develop communities.
• Throughout my studies, I was involved in many activities with the uni, previously worked as Activities Committee Member, Green Ambassador, Class Rep, Founder President of BSoc etc.
