VOTE MAYO CAUSE SHE’S GOT THE SAUCE

Are you ready to see some real change around here??

Yes? Then Vote Mayo Cause She’s Got The Sauce

Heeyyy! I am Mayo, a current GSU Officer and I want to serve you for ONE MORE YEAR. Last year my election motto was ‘A New Voice Moving In The Right Direction’ and together, we’ve made some amazing wins;

  • Championed issues facing Medway Students including the Medway bus service and Drill Hall Library opening times.
  • Championed Liberation issues relating to Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) students and I’m currently working on a Faith On Campus proposal.
  • Organised the first comprehensive Black History Month Campaign and Black Excellence exhibition.
  • Worked with the Faculty of Engineering and Science to modify Engineering Professional Skills 3 module to meet students’ needs.
  • Advocated for More Accessible Campuses.
  • Worked to provide more Support For Student Parents.
  • Worked on the Learning Analytics project to aid Better Personal Tutor and Tutee Relations.

ONE VOICE, ONE DIRECTION, ONE GREENWICH

Even though we’ve made progress, I know the work is not finished. I am asking you to trust me again to represent you and ensure you have the best time at Greenwich.

This year, the vision is clear. Let’s make 2020 the year to remember. Let’s;

  1. Make the move for Medway Buses.
  2. Get improved Personal Tutor Support.
  3. Mend the gap between BAME Students and Attainment.
  4. Ensure Elected Officers’ Visibility.
  5. Lobby for the implementation of the Faith on Campus Proposal.
  6. Support Liberation Groups and Traditionally Unreached Students.
  7. Continue to champion the voice of Postgraduate Students.

With your support, we can ensure the students’ voice is heard and the University moves in the right direction.
