Hi, My name is Zachary Sauer and I am running for the position of Faculty Officer for the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences. I am standing in this election because I am an engaged student and currently active Programme Representative, who has gathered appropriate information to improve your time here at Greenwich.
I have relevant experience for this position through my current roles as a Politics and International Relations Programme Representative, as well as being the only first-year student to sit on Student Union Conduct Panels. These roles have kick-started my passion and devotion to improving our student experience here at Greenwich.
If elected, I plan to:
Push for Teachers Assistants:
To give eligible students a new unique opportunity in their modules, and to enhance transparency and communication between students and lecturers.
Increase Social Activity and Communication:
By running inclusive social events for every student in our faculty at different venues in London.
Empower the Student Voice:
Through face-to-face and group support sessions with myself and lecturers. Whether students are international, mature or simply new to university, my plan is to allow all students an equal way to express their views.
I think that these are strong and attainable objectives with the power to positively impact students across the faculty.
