Will ensure to use my GSU OFFICER position to represent the student body accurately and honestly for building a better community. Communication is the key source to our future success, hence will make effective platform where student’s voice is heard and respected. Let’s take our union to the next level.
What I can do?
Sports and Society:
- Assurance to suitably reward our societies for the effort and devotion shown for this University.
- Money should never be a constraint for which will push to collaborate with local business to sponsor club, also sporting scholarships for talented players while inter-house sports competitions and live streaming important games for encouragement.
- Follow best practices to overcome mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression and low Self-Esteem.
Students welfare and rights:
- Work towards strengthening student welfare policies by taking timely feedback and suggestions from students through internal surveys and town hall meetings.
- Campaigning to improve the immigration system for international students and will help students to receive “fair” compensation through scholarships and other promotional programs.
Education and Employment:
- Represent issues right from employment rights to fair wages and campaigning for better access to education.
- Establishing alumni network for our students to connect with seniors for career enhancements, internship and employment guidance etc.,
Women Safety:
- Will develop process to handle grievances and issues related to violence and misbehavior towards women students.
