About Me
Hi, I’m a third-year business computing student at the University of Greenwich. I have decided to run for GSU officer as I believe there needs to be several changes made in our university. Of course we attend for our education but it's also important that we enjoy ourseleves, make useful friendships, connections and make sure our voices are heard. The changes I want to make range from the social aspects of our university lives to our mental and physical wellbeing. My focuses are:
Supporting Your Societies & Events
- I will support to students looking to establish new societies
- I will support existing societies in any way possible whether that’s improvements of facilities or hosting events, I’m here for it!
- Sporting, Social, Educational or whatever it may be, I will help organise and host your events
Your Mental and Physical Health
- I will make physical wellbeing sessions readily available to all students
- I will Increase funding and reduce waiting times for wellbeing sessions
- I will improve facilities in terms of university gyms and pitches
- I aim to eradicate booking fees for sporting events hosted by societies
Racial Equality and Diversity
- I will continue to assist further the progression made in terms racial equality and diversity at the university.
- I will Improve facilities for all Religions, Beliefs and Cultures
- Recognise countries and states with limited recognition
