My name is Yoshie Fuentes and after three years of being in the International Business and Economics department, being a member of Team Greenwich, and living 3,861 miles away from home, I’ve learned a lot. Most importantly that Greenwich can do better. The university experience is never how you imagined it to be, so I want to be on the forefront of making sure that this changes.
Therefore, I am running for the position of GSU Officer to strengthen the University of Greenwich community. I will make this happen by:
- Offering better training and support for the societies and teams
- Making every type of student a priority, yes LGBTQ+, international, BAME, disabled, traditional, or commuters (WE ALL MATTER)
- Creating better opportunities for our students to get jobs after they graduate
- Simply listening to the students wants and needs
