My name is Boris B. Borisov and I am running for NUS delegate 2020 in pursuit of my passion for a better future and academic experience for each and every student regardless of age, gender, orientation, religion or appearance.
My aims and priorities are:
- To look for options to increase the funding for societies and sport events/societies.
- To promote equal opportunity for students across all campuses.
- To increase communications and their efficiency between students and the academic body as the elected intermediary
- It is common knowledge that the current internet connection provided by the university could be improved, and I, among many others, would like to significantly improve its service.
- I would like to implement improvements to the attendance registration system in classes as it is currently very slow and crowded at best, as well as consuming precious time between the lecturers and students.

I have experience from many different walks of life, such as my managerial experience on a cargo ship, where I shared responsibility for the health and safety of the onboard crew, as well as a business owner which gave me the necessary experience to know how to handle and represent interests in front of many organisations.
