Hi, I'm Nathalie and I am running to be your GSU Officer.
For three years I have been highly engaged by being on several society committees, a Societies Exec, and the SU Women Students' Officer. I have organised university-wide events such as SHAG (Sexual Health Awareness and Guidance) Week, and I am planning several more. In addition to this, I also have two additional years as an SU President and an SU Head of Democracy at another SU. Throughout my years at Greenwich, I have noticed that we are not doing enough for our students and we HAVE to change.
If elected I want to focus on the following areas:
Your SU needs to be YOURS
- Improving social spaces on ALL campuses
- Developing mental health and wellbeing services
- Making SU spaces safer
Minority Support
- Developing minority voice networks and supportive communities
- Improving minority accessibility of student spaces
- Developing employability of minority groups through the development of networks
Sports and Societies Development
- Creating free memberships for those with financial difficulties
- Providing dedicated payer spaces for students who need it
- Reviewing the funding system for sports and societies
