"Standing Out To Make A Difference"

My name is Freya Cary and I'm a first year Mathematics student. Having been a Student Representative this year, I've thoroughly enjoyed the collaborative experience of conversing with my colleagues to coherently improve our student experience and this is why I'd like to be a Faculty Officer - to do this on a larger scale. I've helped to make efficient and impactful improvements to our study experience and I could make the same difference but now to the whole Faculty.

I'm an excellent and approachable communicator. I want to hear the views of students to help make an impact upon the Faculty as a whole; to relay what we enjoy and what could be improved. I've centred my whole campaign around my yellow coat as I always wear this around campus and where it is a unique choice, it makes me stand out thus making me easily identifiable to students.

Being an enthusiastic student and living on campus, I utilise a lot of what the university has to offer in terms of facilities. For example, I am a regular at the library and so have some ideas as to how this can be improved which I would like to discuss at Faculty meetings (as I do in Student Representative meetings) such as making the Basement level a zone similar to the Ground Floor as this tends to become noisy and the Ground Floor is busy in peak times.

If you want someone who is eager to help make change, to help make improvements and to help make your student experience within the faculty of Architecture, Computing and Humanities better, then vote for me!
