Hello, my name is Alessio Papa, I am a 3rd year International Business student at the University of Greenwich. I am running as Faculty Officer for the Business School. I have always thought that as a student if I have the possibility to make an impact and change something to help others, why wouldn’t I ever waste this opportunity? I became President of The Italian Society, I worked as Welcoming Ambassador on campus and I am planning to do a lot more for this university.
As a Faculty Officer those are my pledges:
It’s been highlighted how important is to take advantage from the many unused spaces in the Queen Anne building for example the area on the first floor where are set up the Fairs or the Networking events. I would like to make the most of that space: adding vending machine or even printers would be a huge stop forward giving the fact that most of them are positioned on the second floor.
I would like the Business School along with the other Faculties to organise entrepreneurial events where students can meet up and share their knowledge throughout a common goal. I would like to organise Faculty’s gala nights or even less formal events. We are students, we have the need and the right to party.
Please make sure you remember to go out and vote for these elections because even though you might not suddenly realise it, we are making a strong impact to your university.
