Hello, my name is Sana Hufthy and I am undergraduate student, studying Business Management on my final year. I currently work as a receptionist at the student union in Avery Hill, and I enjoy a variety of activities & hobbies such as playing basketball, sketching, and cooking! I have work experience in many different sectors, from project management to activities. I would like to one day own my own recruitment company and I am interested in becoming a Business consultant once I finish my degree.
I believe that I possess the skills and experience to effectively represent University of Greenwich students at the National Union Students Conference in April. I was previously elected as the BAME (Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic) Students officer across both campuses where my role was to represent self-defined students voice and concerns regarding issues around BAME. I attended two NUS conferences and therefore I have great knowledge of the process and structure of the event, including a vast network of student elects.
I would like to become an NUS delegate as I enjoy being part of a wider community of students and meeting new members from all different backgrounds and societies. I am also passionate about student led ideas and motions, and would like to raise all important issues me and other students believe are important on a higher scale by using my confidence and ability to speak up in order to tackle these issues and create some resolution. Finally, I would like to raise further awareness of NUS memberships to students and encourage their participation in future elections.
Thank you to all whom took the time to read, its much appreciated & please vote for myself! :)
