Hello Everyone,
I am Jayaprakash Yadav Gudepu, the well known as (JP Yadav), This time I’m running to be your Student Union Officer,as your candidate for GSU officer, I am committed to addressing the pressing issues faced by our student community. Together, we can create a supportive and thriving environment for all.
Here are my key focuses:
#1. Three Instalment Fee Structure
- Objective: Advocate for a three-instalment payment option for tuition fees.
- Benefit: This will ease the financial burden on international students, allowing them time to settle and manage their finances effectively.
# 2. Affordable Meals with Akshay Patra
- Objective: Introduce the Akshay Patra initiative at our university.
- Benefit: Offer nutritious meals at just £2, significantly reducing the cost of food for students while ensuring they receive balanced nutrition, similar to successful programs at renowned institutions.
#3. Cost Reduction in University Accommodation
- Objective: Push for reduced costs in campus accommodation and services.
- Benefit: Address the financial strain on students by making living expenses more manageable, ensuring that accommodation is affordable and accessible for everyone.
#4. Enhancing Student Well-being
- Objective: Improve mental and physical health services and leisure opportunities on campus.
- Benefit: Prioritize student welfare by providing resources that promote overall health and well-being, fostering a supportive community for all students. A hotline for students with volunteers to help out with problems.
#5. Unity in Diversity: Cultural Festivals
- Objective: Celebrate cultural diversity through unified cultural events across campuses.
- Benefit: Promote understanding and respect for all religions and cultures by providing funding for festivals, fostering community spirit and inclusivity.
