Uniting for Progress!!

Greetings fellow students, I am Ashish Paslawar, and I'm eager to serve as your student officer. Currently in the final year of my BA Hons International Business, I've spent nearly three years immersed in the vibrant tapestry of university life I am committed to being the catalyst for this transformation. With your support, I will advocate tirelessly for policies and programs that address these pressing needs, ensuring that every student feels empowered, supported, and heard. Join me in this journey of progress and empowerment. Together, let's pave the way for a brighter, more inclusive future for our university. Thank you for your trust and for considering me as your voice in the Students Union. As a candidate for GSU officer, I stand committed to fostering a campus environment where every student's voice is heard and valued. My manifesto is built on the pillars of inclusivity, empowerment, and progress. Here's what I pledge to bring to our university:

1. Inclusivity: I believe in creating a space where diversity thrives and where every student feels welcomed and supported. I will work to ensure that underrepresented groups have a seat at the table and that their perspectives are considered in all decision-making processes.

2. Empowerment:  I am dedicated to empowering students to take charge of their academic and extracurricular experiences. Through initiatives such as mentorship programs, leadership workshops, and skill-building seminars, I will equip students with the tools they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom. I’ll ensure every student is aware about the options at university by explaining about GSU advice team and finance team. I’ll ensure international students make their tuition fees seamlessly as most of us struggle with convera.

3. Progress: I am committed to driving meaningful change on campus. From advocating for improvements in campus facilities to championing sustainability initiatives, I will work tirelessly to make our university a better place and safe space for all of us.

4. Transparency: I believe in transparency and accountability in student government. I will strive to keep students informed about the decisions being made on their behalf and will always be open to feedback and suggestions. Considering my experience with GSU, I’m aware that, there are many suggestions students want to make but, they are not aware about the process. I’ll design a form specifically for suggestions which will be available on the website.

Together, let's unite for progress. Together, let's build a brighter future for our university.

DO YOU WANT TO MAKE A progress!
