We welcome players of all abilities.
Our social sessions are for everyone, no matter what level. It's a great way to learn new skills, exercise, meet new people and just to have a knock about! We hold both training and social sessions every week.
We also have a mixed competitive team (LUSL), a recreational womens team(BUCS) and a competitive mens team (BUCS).
Please only buy a membership if told to by one of the captains.
We play on:
Thursday 17:00 - 19:00 Team Training
Location: Avery Hill Southwood site (David Fussey Sports Hall)
We hold many events throughout the year including:
Annual Raveminton (Glow in the dark badminton)
This Girl Can (Celebrating and encouraging women in sports)
Charity Fundraising
University of Greenwich Varsity (for competitive teams)
In addition, we will be hosting socials around every few weeks, with different themes for each one! We are also looking at taking badminton on TOUR!!!! We are aware that not everyone enjoys drinking and going out so we have many non-alcohol social events planned too, including bowling, mini golf and many more.
