Hannah Larsen

Meet Hannah. Student staff and PR student.

You may already have met Hannah, she's been a friendly face at Greenwich Students' Union venues for the past couple of years! Thank you to Hannah our brand new #ProudtobeGRE profile. Hannah has previously run the PR Fraternity Society.

What is your role at GSU?

I am a member of Student-staff as well as studying PR at the University of Greenwich.

What attracted you to the University of Greenwich?

The friendly staff and students I met during the open day I attended … and of course the buildings!

What makes you Proud to be GRE?

The people I have met and the opportunities I have been given through my time at university and GSU have been more than I could have asked for from a university experience. The community spirit is one of a kind. It is easy to say that I am finishing university #ProudtobeGRE alongside many others.

Do you have any advice for new students starting?

Do not be afraid to spark conversation with anyone you see during your first week in Halls and at Uni, everyone is in the same boat. Join a Society, it is an easy way to build an amazing support team as well as providing you with opportunities that go beyond your course.

My final bit of advice is to invest in your Students’ Union. They not only provide you with the support you need, but great job opportunities and you will also meet some incredible people too. I have had the time of my life at University, you will too.

What opportunities has The University of Greenwich given to you?

I have had to chance to work for the GSU communications team who have given me the experience I need to start off a bright future in PR and Communications. I have also worked behind the bar of the Lower Deck which has allowed me to make new friends as well as providing me with some incredible sights of horrific dance moves. The PR Frat gave me many opportunities related to my course, we even visited parliament!
