After consultation with the Estates and Facilities Directorate at the University of Greenwich, Greenwich Students' Union President Meike Imberg announces an improved bus service.
Avery Hill – Greenwich
The service will be increased in teaching and exam weeks to every 30 minutes 8am to 7pm. With a few exceptions - departures will be at 00 and 30 past the hour from each campus. This will make travel between the two campuses more time efficient and should improve passenger comfort at many times of the day. The service at other times of the year will remain hourly but move to 30 past the hour to align with teaching weeks. The evening service will be extended into exam weeks.
The service will be provided in a dedicated minibus in the morning. This in addition to lunchtime. There will be a new service after 5pm from Bathway.
Medway – Greenwich
There will be four extra departure times to improve travel to Greenwich for Medway based passengers. New times will be at 7.30am and 11.00am from Medway Campus and 5.15pm and 7.15pm from Greenwich Campus. These will operate in teaching and exam weeks.

GSU President Meike Imberg Says: 'It’s very exciting that we finally managed to change the bus timetables! After a lot of student feedback through face-to-face conversations and other social media channels, we conducted a survey and worked with the University over the summer to improve the bus timings for our students. I already had a lot of positive feedback and this is an amazing win for our students!'
Meike also highlights that this is not the end: 'Once all the new services start in January, we can review the service at a later point in the year again.'
